Grand Strand Bloggers Meetup for the Fall
September 15th, 2007 by daveSometime in September or October it would be good to have another in person blogger meetup. For those who would like to come and/or have some suggestions on time and place, leave it in the commments. I always feel like the meetups should be near the beach as it tends to be central to most people and also fun but I’d be willing to meet about anywhere. Let’s get together, hang out and talk blogging and computers!

hey chris, we like liberty taproom’s patio, too.
we generally hit the decks overlooking the ocean and waterway ’til it’s too cold or they close, whichever is first.
but whereever everybody chooses is fine with us!

I’m good with the Taproom, as I’ve never been but heard good things about it.
I’m curious to see when this meetup can happen. Oct. is better for me – more lead time!

Hey y’all, sorry for being slow in moderation. For some odd reason I’m not getting the emails to tell me there are new comments. People only need to be moderated once, so all y’all should be able to comment at will now.
Liberty is fine with me and it seems to be the overwhelming favorite, although it is split between Broadway and the taproom. Either is fine with me. The next order of business is to pick a day and time. How about Saturday October 6th in the afternoon?

The 6th works well for me. The tap room is nice but the Broadway gives access to close by delicious cigars. That might only interest me but that’s my vote. Looking foward to it.

won’t be able to make it the 6th — got a shoot at the shrimp and jazz festival AND a wedding AND it’s bike week (we’ll likely have several more shoots scheduled that entire week, and the 6th, as it gets closer).

umm, thought i’d add, not shooting a wedding (we don’t do them), attending one. so got a much bigger block of time we’ll be there.

OK, I hadn’t paid attention to when the fall Bike Week was, so maybe the 6th isn’t that good a date. The next weekend is Converge South in Greensboro, so how about the Saturday the 20th?
As far as the venue, both Liberty locations have some support so how about the Taproom this time, and the Broadway one the next time?
