Converge South

Those bloggers in the Grand Strand area who are interested might want to consider a road trip to Greensboro NC next month for Converge South. It is October 19th and 20th on the campus on NC A&T in Greensboro. I went in 2005 and thought it was fantastic, and only an 11th hour issue kept me from going last year. It has a big street party BBQ on Friday night and a Saturday night of dinners based around topics of interest, as well as music and film both nights. I’m going this year and I recommend it. It’s a three hour drive but well worth it. Geeky sessions, great people, great food and music. What’s not to love?

    Just checking in from the Lowcountry. . .

    I was all excited about going, but my inlaws will be visiting and it was deemed “rude” of me leave town. Well, there is always next year.
