New Blogger in the Blogroll

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Thanks to Nick who emailed to let me know he is an area blogger with Outboard Brain of a Geek. This blog is now in the sidebar. This is the best part of doing this site, finding out more and more like minded people in the area that we probably wouldn’t run across in the course of an average day. If you want to be included or know of other area bloggers, as always feel free to send those suggestions in.

New Blog in the Blogroll

From the Sun News comes this blog – PoliTick-Tock. I’m not sure how I missed this one, but it looks like good stuff and even has a set of regular commentors.

New Blog

I had a problem where my Gmail account was marking things as spam, like the moderation messages from this blog. Yikes! While I was clearing those out, I found a weeks old email from Chris Yale pointing me to this blog: Chris Mowder’s Run Fast, Go Digital. It is mostly a blog about his efforts to train as a runner, but includes some general sports posts like this one with a giant chart of his fantasy football drafts. Good stuff.

Via Andre comes a link to another area blog, I See 20/20. It has also been added to the blogroll. Thanks Andre and keep ‘em coming!

New Blogs Found

Rather than just sitting back and waiting for blogs to be submitted, I have also proactively been looking for blogs that relate to and/or originate from the Myrtle Beach area. Some work with Google turned up the Myrtle Beach Sun Blog, the South Carolina Trial Lawyer blog, and the golf blog Myrtle Beach Insider. The googling will continue, but submissions are greatly appreciated.

Grand Strand Blogroll

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

As we ramp this site up to speed, we are on the lookup for blogs to add to the blogroll on the right. If you are a blogger and live in the Grand Strand or know of one, please email the link to us or leave it as a comment on this post. Because it seems better to err on the side of inclusiveness, the definition of “Grand Strand” is pretty loose. If you feel like you are and are within driving distance, that’s good enough.

Note too that the blogroll on the right is in no particular order. It’s completely random and will get sorted a different way every time. That seems fair enough to all comers. Everyone gets a turn at the head of the list and at the tail of the list. If you have any feedback on how this can be a better resources to the blog community, please leave it. Let’s let it rip, friends!
